We have known Chris Waites from First National Real Estate, Richmond since 2003 when we bought a town house in Richmond for investment where he was the salesman. We then engaged his team to manage this rental property for the next 15 years until we sold it in April this year. While you often hear horror stories of real estates managing rental properties badly, Chris and his team did a superb job managing our property. The property was never untenanted during the 15 years and the assessment of prospective tenants was very comprehensive. Inspections were conducted regularly and often with photos taken. Communication from the team was excellent and we were always made aware of any issues which were then resolved by the team. Chris managed the sale of this property and he made every effort to result in the sale. The marketing strategies were comprehensive and Chris was very competent, professional and open in his communication and often went out of his way to achieve a positive result. In July 2018, we again engaged Chris to market and sell our family home of 26 years. This was reflective of our trust in Chris to market and manage the sale. All open houses were handled professionally and we sold in September this year. Again Chris kept us accurately informed and went out of his way to ensure the sale went smoothly. We have always found Chris over the years to be very ethical, professional, competent, reliable, fair, courteous and open in his communication. We had no difficulty in trusting him with decisions that were important to us and his warm, caring manner has been conducive to developing a productive business relationship.
